The Iranian electoral system, with its unique combination of Islamic principles and republican governance, raises questions about inclusivity, transparency, and accountability in its electoral processes. This study aims to explain and identify the role of elections in the governance of the Islamic Republic of Iran by examining the electoral system of the Islamic Consultative Assembly. Since this research is qualitative in nature, it does not address how variables are examined or measured.
